Australian Soil Classification Revision Process

In May 2012 the NCST endorsed the ASC protocol and proforma as the formal means by which ASC revisions are proposed and approved. The ASC protocol and proforma provides guidance to those wishing to propose a revision of the ASC and a formal process for assessing and making decisions on such proposals.
