Annual Pioneer Lecture 2018

Each year the South Australian branch honours an individual who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of soil science. 

Date: Thursday 13 December 2018

Pioneer Lecture: 5:00–6:00 pm

Pioneer 'Right-of-Reply': 6:00–6:15 pm

Light Tea: 6:15–7:30 pm.

Annual Field Trip

The South Australian branch organises a field trip each year. On Thursday 16 November 2017 the field day and seminar was held in the heart of the Adelaide Hills where members, as well as members of the viticulure and wine industry community learnt about and discussed the idea of terroir, in particular its soil aspect.
