The Northern Territory Department of Environment and Natural Resources is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to work within the Land Development Coordination Branch in Darwin as the Senior Land Management Officer; full time fixed duration ending 30/06/2020. The position is responsible for undertaking technical desktop assessment and onsite implementation monitoring of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs) associated with a wide range of development activities.
The position reports to the Regional Land Management Officer and will be required to provide technical advice to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders regarding best practice land management, soil conservation and erosion and sediment control. The successful applicant will have demonstrated training/experience/knowledge in the application of IECA Best Practice Erosion and Sediment Control principles.
